Proactive dialogue, improve the quality of negotiation
In the context of increasingly demanding harmony, stability and progress in labor relations, the role of the Trade Union organization, especially the head of the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS), becomes key.
At DOMESCO Medical Import-Export Joint Stock Company, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Huong - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union - affirmed her outstanding mark with her effective collective dialogue and negotiation capacity, contributing to improving the rights and lives of workers (NLĐ).

In her role as a representative of the collective of union members (ĐV), workers (CN), and employees, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Huong always proactively and closely coordinates with the Board of General Directors of the company to effectively implement grassroots democracy regulations. Periodic dialogues at the workplace are organized methodically, going into substance, focusing on core issues such as production and business situation, implementation of labor policies, working conditions, welfare and emulation and reward regimes.

The highlight is that the internal survey is widely implemented, creating a solid basis for the negotiation process. From this reality, the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) for the period 2024 - 2027 has been signed with many clauses that are more beneficial than legal regulations.
More beneficial terms than the law
From the opinions of workers, many important contents have been agreed upon to be included in the Collective Labor Agreement. Among them, noteworthy is the maintenance of working hours of 44 hours/week - lower than the prescribed 48 hours, helping workers and employees have more time to rest and regenerate labor. Separate leave regimes have also been expanded, increasing the number of full-time days off on funerals and weddings. In particular, Khmer ethnic workers are supplemented with more days off during the Chol Chnam Thmay Tet holiday - showing concern for cultural and ethnic factors.

In the field of welfare, many practical policies have been successfully negotiated such as: supporting 5 million VND for female workers giving birth; wedding gifts worth 1 million VND; funeral gifts from 1-10 million VND depending on the case; mid-shift meal support of an additional 55,000 VND; along with gifts and bonuses on holidays and Tet.
Comprehensive care, spreading humanity
Not stopping at negotiation, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Huong also worked with the Trade Union Executive Committee to closely monitor the implementation of regimes, supplementing many new policies such as buying 24/7 accident insurance for workers and laborers, and supporting retirees with 10 years or more of seniority.

Activities to care for spiritual life are also focused on: organizing annual vacations, the "Happy Spring, Welcoming Tet" program, visiting union members when they are sick or happy. In particular, from the "Heo dat tieu" model, the grassroots trade union has supported more than 64 difficult cases with a total amount of 277 million VND; built 2 "DOMESCO Shelter" houses worth 110 million VND.
These activities are not only of material significance but also contribute to building a cohesive, humane working environment, creating trust and motivation for workers.
Harmonious bridge of interests
Not only creating benefits for workers and employees, in the role of "bridge", Ms. Ho Thi Kim Huong also helps businesses (DN) better understand the thoughts and aspirations of workers and employees. At the same time, mobilizing workers and employees to share and accompany businesses in difficult or peak production periods.
The harmony in labor relations has made an important contribution to the stability and sustainable development of enterprises. By the end of 2025, DOMESCO will not have salary, bonus or insurance debts; grassroots trade unions fully fulfill their obligations to collect and pay union dues according to regulations.

With persistent and clear effective efforts in dialogue and collective negotiation, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Huong deserves to be a typical example of the team of grassroots trade union presidents - people who are silently but persistently building a foundation of harmonious and progressive labor relations in businesses today.
With those practical and effective activities, Ms. Huong was recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour as an outstanding and typical grassroots Trade Union President in collective dialogue and negotiation in 2026.
