Comrade Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - participated in the election of delegates to the Provincial People's Council for the term 2026–2031.
The comrade is currently a delegate of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021–2026 term. In terms of professional qualifications, he is a Fisheries Engineer, Master of Economics; Political theory: Senior level; Foreign language: English B1, with many years of experience in mass organization and management work.
During his work, comrade Nguyen Phuc Linh held many positions in Ben Tre province such as Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial Youth Union; Deputy Head of the Organization - Inspection Committee of the Provincial Youth Union; Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization - Inspection Committee of the Provincial Youth Union.
He also held the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Ben Tre province, and then Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province, accumulating a lot of experience in mass mobilization work.
From 2021 to June 2025, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Labor Federation. From July 2025 to now, he has held the position of Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation.
At the election of delegates to the Provincial People's Council for the term 2026–2031, comrade Nguyen Phuc Linh ran for election in constituency No. 16, including Phu Tuc, Tien Thuy and Tan Phu communes, with the desire to continue to contribute to local development.
With a sense of responsibility and practical experience, Comrade Nguyen Phuc Linh committed to acting according to the motto "Tell right – Tell the truth – Do the truth – Close to the people", focusing on many tasks associated with the lives of people and workers.
First, strengthen coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front, People's Councils, People's Committees and relevant agencies to innovate forms of voter contact; spend more time going to the grassroots level, listening to people's opinions and receiving feedback through online channels.
Second, be attached to people's lives, propose policies to promote agricultural economic development, support farmers to change production thinking, improve the value of agricultural products, limit the situation of bumper crops but price drops and increase income.
Third, research and propose the promulgation of social security policies for union members, workers and vulnerable groups; pay attention to social housing for workers, kindergartens, and cultural institutions in industrial parks.
Fourth, propose to increase investment in grassroots healthcare, especially commune health stations; and at the same time pay attention to policies to support policy families, poor households, the elderly, people with disabilities and children in difficult circumstances.
In his role as a Front and trade union official, he said that he will continue to mobilize social resources to care for the poor and policy families through many practical social security programs.
