In the working session on the morning of June 10, the conference approved the report on the 2024 trade union financial settlement; synthesized the acceptance, explanation of the contents and approved the draft resolution.

Speaking at the closing session of the conference, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang said that after 2 working days, with a spirit of urgency and responsibility, the 7th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term XIII, has completed the proposed contents and achieved great success.
The Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor discussed and contributed many enthusiastic, specific, and highly practical comments on the contents of the draft documents submitted at the conference. The Presidium has studied, had a comprehensive report on receiving and explaining the contents with different opinions and assigned relevant functional departments to complete them for promulgation. The Executive Committee has unanimously approved the Resolution of the Conference to achieve the goals and tasks for 2025 and in the coming time.
The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also emphasized that from now until the end of the year, the workload to be done is very large, the delegates focus on directing, strengthening inspection and supervision to ensure the successful implementation of targets and tasks in 2025.
In particular, closely following the direction of local Party committees and authorities, directives and instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, focusing on implementing the arrangement of the apparatus to ensure synchronization, unity, efficiency, associated with restructuring and improving the quality of the staff and civil servants to meet requirements and tasks.
Units do a good job of ideological work towards cadres, union members and workers, creating high consensus and unity in awareness and action; maintaining internal solidarity in the process of implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus; must be truly impartial, impartial, and objective in the process of evaluating and selecting cadres, avoiding the idea of group, local, and local interests.
In the process of reorganizing the apparatus, units closely direct and guide lower-level trade unions to strictly implement the work of settling trade union finances, receiving and handing over accounting data and accounting documents in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
If there are problems or difficulties, units should promptly report to be considered and resolved, absolutely avoiding work interruptions, field vacations, or loss of records, documents, assets, etc.
Units review, amend and supplement documents and regulations under their authority, adjust and supplement tasks according to the annual work program, ensuring consistency and unity in implementation. At the same time, focus on researching, forecasting, and discovering new issues in trade union activities to advise and propose such as the model of organizing and operating trade unions at the ward and commune levels, the organizational model of the parent and subsidiary trade unions, etc.
Adjusting the tasks of each union level to suit the requirements, tasks and subjects and types of gathering in the new situation.
Union officials maximize their sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and creativity
President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang also requested that delegates who are truly people close to the grassroots, close to the area, must clearly understand the situation in the area and field under their management; maximize the coordination relationship with Party committees, authorities, and unions at the same level. Union officials are proactive in reporting to the management committee on difficulties and problems.
"This is the time for the team of union officials to maximize their sense of responsibility and proactive and creative spirit in implementing tasks" - President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang emphasized.
Units actively participate in the contents of Party Congresses at all levels, the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Along with that, proactively deploy preparations for the Trade Union Congresses at all levels immediately after receiving directives from the Central Government and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Unions of units and localities continue to implement the Peak Month for Union Member Development in conjunction with the 96th Anniversary of the Union's Establishment (July 28), aiming to achieve the goal and plan for developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in 2025, striving to cover all qualified enterprises.
Trade unions at all levels effectively implement the emulation movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" and "Digital education in all levels of trade unions" which have just been launched.
Each unit will research and develop specific contents of the plan in accordance with the area, targeting the central target of workers.
Each union cadre must be the leader in implementing, creating an example to spread, attract, encourage and promote the movement.
