Speaking at the program, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union - said that the contest is a highlight in the administrative reform innovation process according to the requirements and orientations of the Party and State before the country enters a new stage, the era of national development. The contest contributes to continuing to raise awareness among union members and employees in the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union about the responsibilities and specific solutions for administrative reform.
Here, Mr. Trieu Van Cuong - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs - commented that the administrative reform policy is identified by the Party as one of the breakthroughs and strategies for national development, making an important contribution to the construction and completion of the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam.
The final round of the contest had 98 contestants, divided into 14 teams, including 10 Trade Unions of central ministries and branches, including the following Trade Unions: Ministry of Home Affairs; Voice of Vietnam; Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Planning and Investment; Government Office; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministry of Science and Technology; Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Central Office of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
4 Provincial and municipal Civil Servants' Trade Unions, including Civil Servants' Trade Unions: Hai Phong City; Can Tho City; Dak Nong Province; Lao Cai Province.
At the final round of the contest, each team went through 3 rounds: Self-introduction of their unit; Introduction of administrative reform models being effectively implemented in agencies and units; Presentation of administrative reform ideas, solutions and initiatives.
The contest was organized by the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union and the Ministry of Home Affairs to promote propaganda work, raise awareness, promote the role and responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees and trade unions in implementing the overall program of State administrative reform for the period 2021-2030.
