The plant was completed in just about 51 weeks - a record for PepsiCo in the Asia-Pacific region. This project is recognized as one of a total of 250, a typical project nationwide to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and at the same time mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United States.

PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory is expected to open a new chapter in PepsiCo's development journey in Vietnam and affirm its aspiration to create sustainable values for the community as well as future generations.

PepsiCo has invested about 90 million USD (equivalent to more than 2,269 billion VND) in PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory, one of the largest projects with outstanding production capacity. The factory is built on an area of 80,000m2 in the expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park, with the goal of reaching a capacity of more than 25,000 tons of snacks per year, meeting both domestic and international consumption needs.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Ha - General Director of PepsiCo Vietnam Food Company Limited - said that completing a modern factory in just 51 weeks is a great source of pride for the entire team and partners. This achievement demonstrates PepsiCo's ability to deploy with high speed and accuracy, while strengthening PepsiCo's long-term commitment to Vietnam. With this new facility, PepsiCo has better conditions to serve consumers, support economic growth and build a solid foundation for the future.
