The plant was completed in just about 51 weeks - a record for PepsiCo in the Asia-Pacific region. This project is recognized as one of a total of 250, a typical project nationwide to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and at the same time mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United States.
PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory is expected to open a new chapter in PepsiCo's development journey in Vietnam and affirm its aspiration to create sustainable values for the community as well as future generations.
PepsiCo has invested about 90 million USD (equivalent to more than 2,269 billion VND) in PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory, one of the largest projects with outstanding production capacity. The factory is built on an area of 80,000m2 in the expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park, with the goal of reaching a capacity of more than 25,000 tons of snacks per year, meeting both domestic and international consumption needs.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Ha - General Director of PepsiCo Vietnam Food Company Limited - said that completing a modern factory in just 51 weeks is a great source of pride for the entire team and partners. This achievement demonstrates PepsiCo's ability to deploy with high speed and accuracy, while strengthening PepsiCo's long-term commitment to Vietnam. With this new facility, PepsiCo has better conditions to serve consumers, support economic growth and build a solid foundation for the future.

PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory is equipped with an advanced production line, integrating automation and digitalization, improving product quality, optimizing operations, ensuring efficiency and stability. The entire process from the ingredient receipt stage to the finished product is managed with speed, accuracy and high durability.
This capacity allows the factory to meet the growing demand of consumers with unified quality, while strengthening PepsiCo's commitment to economic growth and sustainable development in Vietnam.
The inauguration of PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory took place at a time of special significance, as a symbol of the extensive cooperation between Vietnam and the United States. At the same time, it marked 31 years of PepsiCo's presence in Vietnam and 30 years of diplomatic relations built on a common platform of trade, investment and growth.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cao Son - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - affirmed: "We highly appreciate PepsiCo's strong commitment and social responsibility towards the community and the environment in Ninh Binh. The construction and operation of PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory not only promotes economic growth and creates jobs for local people, but is also an important step in improving product quality and applying advanced and sustainable technology".
When officially put into operation, PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Factory will create more than 1,000 direct and indirect jobs in the fields of production, packaging, and logistics, while supporting community development and expanding local raw material areas.
