On August 8, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) announced that on the same day, the Dong Ha Ward Labor Union held the first expanded Executive Committee Conference.
Attending and directing the conference were comrade Nguyen The Lap - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; comrade Le Quang Viet Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Ha Ward Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Hong Hai - Chairman of the Dong Ha Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; attending the conference were members of the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee and representatives of affiliated grassroots trade unions.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision of the Provincial Federation of Labor on the establishment of the Dong Ha Ward Trade Union and the list of personnel appointed for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairman of the Dong Ha Ward Trade Union.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Hang - Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Ha Ward holds the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union; Comrade Vo Thi Thuong - Member of the Provincial Federation of Labor holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.
The conference approved the draft working regulations of the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee, the draft assignment of tasks to the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee and the implementation of the work program for the last 5 months of 2025.

In the last months of 2025, the Ward Trade Union will focus on implementing key contents such as launching the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers"; strengthening supervision of the implementation of policies and regimes for workers, organizing practical activities to celebrate the Dong Ha Ward Party Congress...
In his speech, Comrade Nguyen The Lap - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor sent his congratulations to the Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union that has just been launched, and emphasized the significance of the establishment of the Ward Trade Union, shared the difficulties of grassroots Trade Unions in the ward and also expressed his confidence in the spirit of proactiveness and responsibility, promoting the core role of the ward trade union staff. He affirmed that the Provincial Federation of Labor and local leaders will continue to pay attention and create conditions for the ward union organization to operate effectively and substantially.
