The conference announced the decision of the City Labor Federation on the establishment of the An Bien Ward Trade Union; assigned the Ward Trade Union to manage and monitor 70 grassroots trade unions with 5,895 union members.
The City Labor Federation also appointed the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee consisting of 8 members, the Ward Trade Union Inspection Committee consisting of 2 members. Mr. Le Tran Tung Cuong holds the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.
After the announcement ceremony, the An Bien Ward Trade Union approved the draft operating regulations of the executive committee, the standing committee of the Ward Trade Union as well as the draft work program until the end of 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation - suggested that the An Bien Ward Labor Union quickly stabilize the organization and implementation of key activities in the last 5 months of 2025.
In particular, the Ward Union focuses on the task of developing union members, reviewing units that have not yet established union organizations to plan for mobilization, propaganda, and establishment.
To achieve high results in developing union members, the leaders of the City Labor Federation noted that the Ward Labor Union should proactively coordinate with the government and counter-level experts to mobilize businesses. The ward union develops a plan to care for union members and workers, pay attention to workers in difficult circumstances, and workers in difficult circumstances who need to repair houses to promptly propose the City Labor Federation's Trade Union Shelter Fund to support construction and repair.
