Ms. Luu Thi Tuyet Trinh - President of the Tan Uyen City Labor Federation - said that the unit had organized the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month in 2025.
At the launching ceremony, the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City presented 5 gifts to workers who have had work-related accidents with a disability rate of 31% who have directly and permanently affected their health, each worth 2 million VND in cash and 1 gift of necessities. The Tan Uyen City Labor Federation also presented 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift of necessities to workers in difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, or serious illnesses.
In Thu Dau Mot, the City Labor Federation also launched Workers' Month 2025. The unit has provided support to 20 workers in difficult circumstances, each gift including 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 500,000 VND. Supported 200 workers, each person worth 700,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND.
Supporting especially difficult circumstances
In Ben Cat city, the Ben Cat Industrial Parks Trade Union has launched a peak month to care for workers.

In particular, focus on caring for union members in especially difficult circumstances due to accidents or serious illnesses.
In Di An city, local trade unions are also implementing many activities to care for union members. The grassroots trade unions regularly review and grasp the living conditions of workers. For workers in especially difficult circumstances, the Trade Union will mobilize support for workers.
The Trade Union of Triumph International Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Song Than 1 Industrial Park, Di An City) is one of the units that has mobilized many times to support workers in difficulty.
Ms. Mai Thi Hong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Triumph International Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that recently, the unit has mobilized the entire company to support the case of Ms. N.T.H (from Ha Tinh province) with pancreatic cancer. This is a particularly difficult situation for female workers, her husband died in an accident, Ms. H raised 2 children alone. Now suffering from a serious illness, the family is exhausted, and the two children worry about having to drop out of school halfway.
Ms. Mai Thi Hong informed that, understanding Ms. H's situation, the Trade Union mobilized more than 100 million VND and directly gave Ms. H. Hopefully, this support would create more motivation to help Ms. H overcome difficulties.
Over 1,300 workers in special difficulties are supported
The Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor has established a Fund to support workers in especially difficult circumstances. Depending on the circumstances, the Fund will support each case with 4 to 10 million VND.
The Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor said that over the past 5 years of operation, the Fund to support workers in especially difficult circumstances has supported more than 1,300 cases with a total amount of over 12.3 billion VND. Currently, the unit is reviewing newly arising difficulties to continue supporting during Workers' Month 2025.
