Ms. Hoang Thu Hang - Vice President of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor - said that, implementing Plan No. 165/KH-BCD dated March 6, 2025 of the Steering Committee for the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" of Thai Nguyen province, the Provincial Federation of Labor has issued Guidelines for implementing the movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) throughout the province.
The movement is being implemented to raise awareness and responsibility of union members and workers about the role of culture in life and the sustainable development of society. Thereby, creating positive changes in building a civilized and united working environment; arousing the desire for development and growth of workers; contributing to the successful implementation of local and unit socio-economic development goals.
Trade unions at all levels proactively coordinate to deploy movements associated with the characteristics of localities, sectors and fields. Each union member and employee must become an active subject in building grassroots cultural life, strictly implementing labor law, office culture and workplace code of conduct.
Along with that, the content of the movement was integrated into many emulation programs such as: "Good worker, creative worker", "Good advice, good service", "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to implement office culture", "Good at public work, good at housework", "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"... From there, comprehensively promote cultural and sports activities, improve the spiritual life of workers.
In particular, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" also aims to build a civilized and progressive lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals; build a warm, progressive, and happy union member family, a place to nurture ethics and personality for future generations. In 2025, the movement aims to achieve 92% or more of agencies, units and enterprises recognized as "achieving cultural standards".
To achieve this goal, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to guide, inspect, evaluate and issue decisions to recognize the title of "achieving cultural standards" on a 2-year, 5-year cycle for units that meet the standards, and at the same time, propose rewards, commendations, and replication of advanced models of the movement in the period of 2000-2025.
The existing cultural institutions will be effectively exploited by trade unions at all levels; at the same time, research and invest in upgrading and building new works to serve the cultural and sports needs of union members and employees. Building a friendly and responsible working environment, repelling bad and toxic information in cyberspace is also a key content.
