The 5th Congress of the Vietnam Post Corporation Trade Union is an important political event for all union members, workers and trade union organizations.
With the close direction of the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union, the Corporation's Party Committee as well as the coordination from the professionalism and solidarity of the staff and employees, the agency's Trade Union has well demonstrated its role as a representative, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees.
Trade union activities from the Corporation to grassroots units are increasingly disciplined and effective. Many new regimes and policies for employees have been issued and implemented, contributing to motivating, motivating, creating trust, peace of mind, and attachment of employees and employees to the development strategy of the Corporation and the trade union organization.
The 2023-2025 term marks the period when Vietnam Post Office faces many difficulties and fluctuations in the market, strong changes in service structure along with the impact of natural disasters, storms and floods causing prolonged flooding in many localities directly affecting production and business activities. In that context, the Trade Union organization has proactively accompanied the professional sector, maintained courage, protected the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, and promoted the strength of solidarity throughout the system, achieving many positive results.
The Trade Union has closely coordinated with the Professional to launch many practical emulation movements, closely following production and business practices, and strongly targeting direct workers. A series of key emulation programs were implemented synchronously such as improving service quality, promoting revenue, developing social insurance, competing at the Post Office - Commune Culture..., along with the peak periods of "150 days of finishing", "320 days of action - Successful finishing", "90 days of attack - Determination to win", creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere across the network. In particular, the "220 days of action - Successful completion" campaign in 2024 has brought all-out results, helping the total revenue of the fourth quarter of 2024 increase by 49%.
The "Good workers, Creative workers" movement with the core being the "Initiative - Creativity" program continues to arouse the spirit of innovation, recording 1,294 initiatives at the Corporation level in the two years 2023 and 2024. Emulation movements associated with studying and following Uncle Ho, emulation to celebrate major events, union cluster activities... have been effectively implemented, contributing to maintaining market share, improving productivity, increasing income for workers, completing and exceeding production and business targets. Thereby, many outstanding collectives and individuals have been recognized and rewarded at all levels, strongly spreading the spirit of patriotic emulation and industry-loving in the entire Corporation.
One of the bright spots of the Corporation's Trade Union in the 2023-2025 term is to ensure good activities of caring for, visiting, encouraging, supporting material and spiritual life, supporting natural disasters, ... for more than 27,000 workers in difficult circumstances, contract workers, distributors and workers at the Post Office - Culture of the commune; health care for more than 40,000 workers across the network. Specialized welfare programs and social security activities are organized regularly and periodically. The total amount spent on activities to care for and support workers and social security is 40.5 billion VND.
With outstanding achievements in the 2023-2025 term, the Vietnam Post Corporation Trade Union has been awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for many consecutive years; many collectives and union units have been awarded Certificates of Merit, Certificates of Merit and honors by the General Confederation, Industry Trade Union and Corporation Trade Union.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", for the sustainable development of Vietnam Post Office, the Corporation's Trade Union has identified itself as a self-innovation, becoming a core force in propagating and mobilizing employees to actively study, improve their qualifications, meet work requirements; do a good job of ideological work, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members; closely coordinate with professional leaders in the process of innovating and perfecting the organization of Vietnam Post.
In the new term, the Trade Union of Vietnam Post Corporation will strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks, actively contribute to the completion of the production and business plan, and successfully implement the development strategy of Vietnam Post Corporation by 2030.
