On July 15, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) held the 11th Standing Committee Conference for the 2023 - 2028 term. This is the first conference after the merger of the Trade Union organizations of Can Tho City, Soc Trang and Hau Giang provinces.
Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, member of the City Party Committee, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation attended and chaired the conference.
At the conference, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the Plan to deploy the software for the Information System for operational operations in Party agencies at the Can Tho City Labor Federation; Plan to develop union members, establish grassroots unions and introduce excellent union members to the Party for consideration of training and admission in 2025;
Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union; Plan to organize meetings of full-time Trade Union officials through the periods, full-time Trade Union officials of Can Tho city; Working regulations of the Executive Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation for the 2023 - 2028 term; Project to establish commune and ward trade unions in the city.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai suggested that the members of the Standing Committee continue to study, advise and propose effective implementation of the agreed contents. At the same time, it is required to review key targets and tasks in the last 6 months of 2025 to ensure the completion of the annual plan.
