According to quick and incomplete reports from provincial and city labor federations, central industry trade unions, economic group trade unions and corporations directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, before the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, there were over 12 million turns of union members, workers and their relatives benefiting from the care activities of the Trade Union organization with a total budget of over 6,711.6 billion VND.
In which, trade union financial resources are 5,785.6 billion VND, calling for socialization to support funds to care for union members and workers is 926 billion VND (13.8%). The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor spends 195.6 billion VND; provincial, city, industry and equivalent levels - 760 billion VND; grassroots level - 4,830 billion VND.
Successfully serving 215,000 turns of union members and workers making online purchases
The program "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" is directly organized centrally at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and at the provincial, sectoral, and industrial park levels.
At the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour level, the program "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" is directly organized in Ho Chi Minh City for 3 days (from January 30 - February 1, 2026) with a scale of 124 booths of 87 businesses and units, attracting about 10,000 turns of union members and workers to participate.
At the provincial, sectoral, industrial park, local, and unit levels, the program "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" was directly organized, attracting the participation of thousands of businesses with discounts from 10 - 50%.
Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the online program "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" is organized by the VGCL for the 3rd year.

The program "Trade Union Train - Spring 2026" supports 3,100 train tickets to take union members working in the southern provinces back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet in the northern provinces, and at the same time, welcome union members back to work after Tet.
