On December 20, at the conference to review the trade union work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025 of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union - said that 2024 is the first year that all levels of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union will implement the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.
Along with that is the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (1929 - 2024).
This is also an important year, the Trade Unions at all levels continue to put the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation" into practice of Trade Union activities.
Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu suggested that trade unions at all levels make detailed plans to take care of Tet 2025, giving priority to workers with serious illnesses and difficulties; Propagating, grasping aspirations, and encouraging union members to implement Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the organization to be lean and effective...
According to the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, in 2024, activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers and social activities will receive attention.
In particular, 100% of grassroots trade unions have coordinated well with leaders of agencies and units to organize care for union members and workers on holidays and Tet in a joyful, safe and economical atmosphere; saving administrative expenses to improve welfare and increase income for cadres and union members, through activities such as supporting lunch, organizing tours, vacations, Tet bonuses, and subsidies for union members in difficult circumstances.
The Union Shelter and Gratitude House Building Program continues to be implemented, bringing joy to many families of union members, workers, families of policy beneficiaries, and poor households. In 2024, the Civil Servants' Union supported the construction of 6 gratitude houses and organized visits and presented many meaningful gifts to union members in especially difficult circumstances in provinces and cities...
Mr. Quan Van Hai - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) - delivered a speech at the conference with the topic: Propaganda and mobilization work for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies in the new situation.
According to Mr. Quan Van Hai, the propaganda work of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Trade Union is diverse in form and rich in content.
At the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Trade Union, when assigned by the Ministry's leaders to organize activities to disseminate the content of the book "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity" by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Ministry's Trade Union Standing Committee organized a presentation contest to learn about the book's content in a creative and exciting way.

The Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union currently directly manages and directs the activities of 60 trade unions of central departments, ministries, branches, organizations, and public service units (including: 25 grassroots trade unions and 35 grassroots trade unions) with 560 grassroots trade unions and more than 84,000 union members; coordinates with the Labor Federations of provinces and cities to direct the activities of 63 civil servant trade unions of provinces and cities with more than 240,000 union members.
