On November 15, the 6th Hwaseung Vina Company Limited Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, was held. In the past term, grassroots trade unions have developed 1,621 new union members, bringing the total number of union members to 8,031/8,070 workers, reaching a rate of 99.5%.
The average income of workers is over 10.5 million VND/month. The union effectively implements union member welfare programs such as supporting union members with CEP loans, purchasing discounted goods; visiting and giving gifts to union members during holidays, Tet, when they are sick, pregnant, have difficulties, natural disasters, or work-related accidents.
The grassroots trade union closely coordinates with enterprises in improving material and spiritual life: improving working conditions, cafeteria, working area, entertainment - sports area according to GWP standards. Patriotic emulation movements are maintained enthusiastically such as "Good workers - creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Good at public work - good at housework"...
Since the beginning of 2025, the grassroots Trade Union in coordination with the Board of Directors has visited 16 union members with serious illnesses and work-related accidents with a total budget of nearly 140 million VND.
In addition, the Trade Union has mobilized workers to contribute more than 240 million VND to support 9 workers in especially difficult circumstances.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Trade Union coordinated with the Board of Directors to give gifts, New Year wishes and lucky money to workers; organize means of transporting workers back to their hometowns, especially supporting those in difficulty who have not been able to return home for many years, with a total cost of over 1.5 billion VND.
In the period of 2024-2025, the grassroots trade union mobilized enterprises to build 4 "Union Shelters" worth 240 million VND; coordinated to organize the "Union Meal" program for 7,873 union members and workers.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Bui Thi Bich Thuy - Permanent Vice President of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged and praised the outstanding results that the Trade Union of Hwaseung Vina Company Limited has achieved in the past term. She emphasized that in the context of enterprises having a large number of employees, trade union activities at the company have clearly demonstrated their role as a solid support for workers, especially in caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Executive Board of the new term continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovate the content and methods of operation; enhance the understanding of the thoughts and aspirations of employees; proactively coordinate with the Board of Directors of the company to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations; continue to pay more attention to activities to improve welfare, care for material and spiritual life, help workers feel secure in their work, and stay with the enterprise for a long time.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 15 members, Mr. Ho Tang Anh Tuan was re-elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of Hwaseung Vina Company Limited, term 2025 - 2030.
