The Executive Board of the Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Company Limited (Vietnam) has just organized a meaningful visit and presented gifts to workers with especially difficult family circumstances in Ta Cu Ty commune, Lao Cai province.
The delegation included Mr. Ly Chinh Hung - Company's External Affairs Director; Ms. Lieu Tien - Head of Company Culture; Ms. Vu Thi Dung - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The working group better understood the difficulties and hardships in the livelihoods of the people here, especially the family of worker Giang Seo Chinh (19 years old) - a union member of the company.
The family of union member and worker Giang Seo Chinh belongs to a poor household in the commune, with 11 siblings. The whole family currently has 5 members (mother, Chinh and children) living in a seriously degraded house, often leaking every time it rains.
Due to difficult circumstances, the sisters cannot go to school and have to work as family help since they were 13 years old. After finishing grade 12, Mr. Giang Seo Chinh had to put his dream aside, work as a construction worker to earn money to support his mother and take care of his youngest child who is in school.
Currently, working more than 300km away from home, Mr. Giang Seo Chinh can only visit his family once a year. Every time he receives his salary, Mr. Giang Seo Chinh only keeps a small part to cover his personal expenses, and sends the rest home to help his mother and younger siblings.
At the visit, representatives of the Company and the Trade Union presented the family with practical gifts, encouraging worker Giang Seo Chinh and his family.
Speaking at the visit, Mr. Ly Chinh Hung - External Affairs Director of the Company expressed his emotion: "Luxshare-ICT is not only a business, but also a big family. We deeply understand and appreciate the efforts to overcome difficulties of workers Giang Seo Chinh. This is a valuable example of determination to live. Although these gifts are small, they are the heart of the entire Board of Directors, the Executive Board of the Trade Union and the company's employees, wishing to share the burden and add motivation for Mr. Giang Seo Chinh and his family to have more faith in a brighter future, feel secure in sticking with and working at the company."
Union member Giang Seo Chinh and his family were moved to express their deep gratitude for the thoughtful attention of the Executive Committee of the union and the company. This support is not only material but also a source of warm spiritual encouragement, adding confidence for workers to persevere in their rise. The visit is not only a meaningful activity, but also clearly demonstrates the role of accompanying, sharing and caring for the lives of workers of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Company Limited (Vietnam).
