On December 15, according to Lao Dong, the functional forces of Phuong Liet ward (Hanoi) launched a campaign to clear land for cases of re-encroachment on the Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section and the Ring Road 2.5 underpass (ie the Kim Dong - Giai Phong underpass).
According to the report of Phuong Liet ward, there were 2 cases of re-encroachment of land due to the People's Committee of Hoang Mai district (formerly) forcing land acquisition and 1 case of demolition of works on land that were not in accordance with the land acquisition boundary of the Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section and the underpass construction project at the Kim Dong - Giai Phong intersection.

Regarding the clearance volume, the authorities demolished the construction works, including: part of a temporary corrugated iron house of about 20m2, part of a brick wall that had been demolished during the enforcement, currently the family is re-roofing the roof to use about 30m2; demolishing part of a 4-storey house of about 3.9m2 (3.9m2x4 floor) = 16m2; demolishing a temporary corrugated iron frame house of about 10m2 (constructed with containers).
At the scene, after propaganda and mobilization, households voluntarily dismantled the encroached works.
Among them is Mr. T.V.T's household - the person who brought the container to the Ring Road 2.5 project and also agreed to hand over the site for the project.

Previously, on December 12 and 13, the People's Committee of Dinh Cong Ward coordinated with Hoang Ha Construction Investment Company Limited and related units to organize the clearance of re-encroachment works within the Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section.
Statistics in Dinh Cong ward show that there are still 18 locations of re-encroachment on the Ring Road 2.5 project.
Among these, Ms. L.T.H's household encroached on 290m2 of land within the project boundary.
The process of land clearance and compulsory land recovery is carried out by competent authorities in accordance with the procedures and regulations of law.
Up to now, Dinh Cong ward has basically completed the site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, according to the city's direction.

The completion of the re-encroachment points creates favorable conditions for the contractor to be able to simultaneously deploy construction on the entire Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, ensuring completion progress according to the city's direction.
The Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, is about 1.6km long, with a total investment of more than 1,300 billion VND.
The project started in 2014, expected to be completed after 3 years but was delayed due to site clearance problems and waiting for the extension of the BT contract appendix.
By May 2025, the project will be restarted, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026, hoping to help reduce congestion, opening up new development space for the southern area of the capital.
