On December 11, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to organize a training conference to improve the capacity of cadres working in information and propaganda work of trade union organizations.
The conference was attended by more than 200 grassroots union officials in the province.
Attending and directly conveying the contents of the conference were comrades: Mr. Nguyen Manh Kien - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; doctor, Colonel Ta Duc Ninh - Deputy Director of the Institute for Drug Prevention and Control Research and Application.
At the conference, delegates listened to communication and discussion on two key and practical contents: Strengthening drug prevention to protect workers; trade union propaganda in the new context.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized the role and importance of propaganda work and requested that trade union officials effectively apply the knowledge and skills they have been trained in practical activities at the grassroots level.
Also within the framework of the conference, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on the welfare program for union members and workers with Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company.
According to this cooperation agreement, Bao Hung Company will provide preferential discount policies for candy and moon cakes under the Omeli brand. Union members and workers who register to buy under the welfare program will receive a discount of 10% to 15% compared to the selling price on the market.
This is a practical activity to care for and bring specific benefits, improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in the province.
