Attending the ceremony to honor outstanding families of employees and workers who have won national and international awards; workers who have overcome difficulties to study well in the 2024 - 2025 school year were: Nguyen Hong Dien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Minister of Industry and Trade; Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the ceremony, 36 typical families; 50 excellent students nationally and internationally; 13 students who overcame difficulties and studied well in the 2024 - 2025 school year were commended and rewarded.

Implementing Directive No. 06 dated June 24, 2021, of the Secretariat "On strengthening the Party's leadership in family building in the new situation" and Directive No. 28 dated December 25, 2023 of the Politburo "On strengthening the care, education and protection of children to meet the requirements of developing a prosperous and happy country", in recent years, along with caring for union members and workers, the Vietnam Trade Union has also focused on paying attention, directing and widely implementing family life education; providing knowledge and skills to build happy families.
Well perform the function of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers - especially female and child workers - to contribute to demonstrating the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and comprehensively protecting union members and workers; at the same time, encourage workers and civil servants to continue to do well in family building, child care, and education, while also completing well the assigned work at the agency or unit.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Industry and Trade praised and acknowledged the great contributions and achievements of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union at all levels in implementing the Strategy for Family Development and Caring for Children of Workers and Civil Servants.
This work has truly gone into depth and brought practical results, contributing to the successful implementation of the industry's tasks. The Minister emphasized that the ceremony not only honors exemplary families and children who have won national and international awards but also affirms the meaning and importance of family and children's work.
On this occasion, the Minister requested that Party committees and Party organizations at all levels regularly lead and direct the work of building families; promote the role and responsibility of heads at all levels in family building work. It is necessary to raise awareness of workers and civil servants about family work, building a prosperous, progressive and happy family is one of the important goals of the socio-economic development strategy, and at the same time, it is the responsibility of every family in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country.

According to Mr. Le An Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, the Commendation Ceremony is an opportunity to honor exemplary families, disciplined, exemplary, children and grandchildren who are filial, harmonious couples, united brothers and sisters, and love each other. Highly promote the role of the family in nurturing, orienting values, educating the younger generation, building and developing the Vietnamese family value system in the new era; commend excellent students, bright examples that contribute to beautifying the tradition of studiousness, contributing to building an increasingly developed learning society. This activity is especially meaningful on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong shared: I request that trade unions at all levels of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in the coming time continue to implement Plan No. 59/KH-TLD dated April 23, 2024 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in accordance with the reality of the locality and industry. In particular, focusing on raising awareness and responsibility of trade unions at all levels for the work of caring for, educating and protecting children, considering this a particularly important content for sustainable development, meeting the requirements of building a prosperous and happy country. Strengthening close coordination between trade unions and agencies and organizations in the political system creates a combined strength in the work of caring for, educating and protecting children in general and children of union members and workers in the Industry and Trade sector in particular.
