At the ceremony, delegates witnessed the Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union and the Chairman of the Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation Trade Union awarding decisions on transfer and reception of grassroots trade unions, which were carried out solemnly, in accordance with procedures and warmly.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Hai Ha Kotobuki Co., Ltd. - said that the Trade Union of Hai Ha Kotobuki Co., Ltd. is a grassroots trade union directly under the Trade Union of Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation.
As of May 31, the Company's Trade Union has a total of 360 union members/365 employees, of which female employees are 268 people (accounting for 73%). The Executive Committee includes 7 members, including 1 Chairman, 1 Vice Chairman and 5 members. There are 26 trade union groups, stores and affiliated branches organized for production and business activities in Hanoi city and Bac Ninh city.
Over the past time, the company's operating situation has changed a lot because Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation has completed the divestment of 100% of state capital in Hai Ha - Kotobuki Co., Ltd. from December 30, 2025.
The transformation of the ownership model has had a certain impact on the organization and operation of enterprises as well as trade union organizations, in addition, implementing Conclusion No. 208-KL/TW dated November 11, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on arranging party organizations in corporations and general corporations, they have moved to operate at the Party Committee of Tuong Mai ward.
Because the company has a change in the new investor, the thoughts and feelings of a part of the workers still have concerns and worries about the orientation of operations, jobs and income in the coming time.
