Vietnam Trade and Industry Union promotes propaganda on using E10 gasoline

The Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade is promoting propaganda and raising awareness among union members and workers about the benefits of green fuels, contributing to promoting sustainable consumption and emission reduction goals.

Mr. Le An Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of Vietnam Industry and Trade (CĐCTVN) said that, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, performing the functions and tasks of CĐCTVN, the Industry Trade Union has requested trade union levels to propagate the Party and State's guidelines and policies on energy transition, green development, reducing carbon emissions, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and contributing to ensuring energy security; the use of E10 gasoline is an inevitable trend to protect the environment, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and implement Vietnam's commitment to net zero emissions by 2050.

From June 1, 2026, E10 gasoline will be officially deployed nationwide, the VGCL requests trade union levels to pay attention to directing and widely communicating to officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers about the benefits and necessity of promoting the use of E10 bio-gasoline and the roadmap for deploying E10 gasoline in an objective and accurate direction, closely following the Party and State's policies; creating consensus and support for a policy with great significance for the environment and socio-economics, energy security of the Party and the Government. Including content on the deployment of E10 gasoline in the work and trade union activities meeting program.

At the same time, promote propaganda on the website and Zalo group of agencies and units on propaganda content about the guidelines, policies and benefits of E10 biofuel; at the same time, to raise awareness of union members and workers about biofuels, promote the trend of green consumption and spread the message of using environmentally friendly energy...

CĐCTVN has also requested trade union levels to mobilize union members and workers to participate in the "Learning about the benefits of E10 biofuel" contest nationwide; The contest is organized in the context of the trend of green energy transition and emission reduction becoming an urgent requirement in many countries around the world.

This is not only a propaganda and knowledge dissemination activity but also aims to build awareness, change consumption habits and encourage the community to accompany each other in the process of using clean and environmentally friendly energy.

At the contest "Understanding the benefits of E10 gasoline" with the theme "E10 - Green Fuel for a Green Future" organized by the Domestic Market Management and Development Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the CĐCTVN team participated in the direct round. The team showed a deep understanding of the policy of developing biofuels, the benefits of E10 gasoline for the environment, community health and the economy.

With elaborate preparation, solid knowledge and confident and creative performances, the team left many good impressions on the Organizing Committee and the audience and excellently won the Third Prize.
