On March 27, Southern Paper Materials Company (Quang Ngai) organized a worker conference. Attending and directing the conference was Mr. Le An Hai - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union.
Over the past time, the collective of leaders, managers, and employees of the Company have made efforts to implement and basically complete 100% of the 2025 production and business plan assigned by Vietnam Paper Corporation.
Employment and income of employees are always guaranteed to be stable. Company leaders promptly deduct and fully participate in regimes and policies, ensuring compliance with regulations (social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance...) for employees; 100% of employees undergo periodic health checks during the year; 100% of employees purchase labor accident insurance during the year; equip labor protection for employees working at the establishment...
At the conference, leaders of the Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade listened to shares about the production, business, employment, income situation as well as the lives of union members and workers in the context of many difficulties and challenges.
Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade Le An Hai also acknowledged the efforts of businesses in maintaining production activities, ensuring jobs, wages and welfare regimes for workers throughout the past year.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union also requested grassroots trade unions to coordinate with professional leaders to actively apply information technology and digital transformation to improve labor productivity, help workers promote initiatives and creativity... contributing to building strong businesses and workers with stable incomes; coordinate to ensure labor safety and hygiene, protect and prevent forest fires; actively record opinions, thoughts, and aspirations of workers to take better care of them.
The Vietnam Trade and Industry Union is committed to continuing to accompany businesses and grassroots trade unions in launching emulation movements and caring for union members and workers.
At the conference, leaders of the Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade directly awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2025; and at the same time awarded support for Trade Union Shelter to union members and employees at companies facing housing difficulties.
