Union members can borrow capital without interest
On November 9, the Ninh Hoa Urban Joint Stock Company's Trade Union held the 9th Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Ninh Hoa Urban Joint Stock Company has more than 200 employees. Of which, up to 99.5% are union members. The average income of workers is 14.6 million VND/person/month.
During the past term, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union coordinated with the government to organize labor conferences and participate in developing salary and bonus regulations.
Accordingly, union members are fully equipped with labor protection, periodic medical examination and treatment for occupational diseases and toxic diseases.
In particular, to sustainably care for union members, the company's grassroots union has maintained the construction of a mutual loan fund from union members' voluntary contributions.
Union members in difficulty will be able to borrow capital without interest for a period of 10 - 20 months, each loan is from 10 - 30 million VND.
During the term, nearly 300 union members have been able to borrow capital with an amount of 3.3 billion VND. Thereby, promptly helping union members solve capital difficulties.
The union also visited 555 union members, with an amount of more than 300 million VND; visited and presented gifts to new homes to 13 union members and supported the construction of 4 shelters for union members with a total cost of 185 million VND.
Ensuring the lives of workers
Mr. Nguyen Van Thach, a union member of the Green Tree group, has been with the company for 12 years. Currently, his average income is over 11 million VND/month, stable for him to take care of his family.
During the new term, Mr. Thach hopes that the Executive Board of the Trade Union will continue to have orientations to contribute to the development of the Company, increase income, and care for workers working directly.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, Director of the Company, with the trend of digital development, the work of mobilizing and improving the skills of workers requires the active participation of the trade union.
In the coming time, the Company's Board of Directors will coordinate with the trade union to enhance digital transformation, helping employees to convert to meet new requirements.
Emphasizing the pioneering and bridging role of grassroots trade unions in the context of developing the current trade union model, Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice President of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - suggested that delegates continue to discuss and contribute opinions to the direction of the new term.
In particular, promoting the digital application of trade union activities; innovating the form of propaganda content to bring policies and regulations related to union members' lives deeper, closer and more practical.
Grassroots trade unions research and develop winter activities to motivate union members to work enthusiastically and creatively to successfully complete their assigned tasks.
The 9th Congress of the Trade Union, term 2025-2030, elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Ninh Hoa Urban Joint Stock Company, consisting of 9 people.
Mr. Vo Huu Hoang was elected Chairman of the Trade Union. The Congress also voted to approve the targets to strive for for the 2025-2030 term.
