On April 12, 2025, at the Bac Giang Provincial Sports Stadium, the Provincial Party Trade Union organized a Badminton and Pickleball Tournament for civil servants, public employees, and workers, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (September 30), 139 years of International Labor Day (May 1) and responding to Workers' Month 2025.
Attending the opening ceremony were: Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Le Duc Tho - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation and representatives of the leaders of the Party Committee, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, special associations, and provincial-level public service units.
The tournament attracted nearly 200 athletes who are union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers from 31 grassroots unions under the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union. Athletes compete in the two sports of Badminton and Pickleball with many competitions for leaders, grassroots union officials and union members in all age groups.
After a day of exciting, united and honest competition, the athletes gave many beautiful and attractive performances, receiving enthusiastic cheers from the large audience. With the fair and objective work of the referee team, the Organizing Committee awarded 26 sets of awards to outstanding athletes.
The Badminton and Pickleball Tournament is a practical activity during Workers' Month, contributing to encouraging union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers to actively practice sports, responding to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
At the same time, this is also an opportunity to exchange and share experiences, improve professional qualifications, build a rich cultural and spiritual life among union members and workers, towards building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
