On March 22, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that it had issued a document sent to affiliated units, commune and ward trade unions on urging the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations and coordinating the organization of conferences of civil servants and employees in 2026.
Accordingly, trade union levels need to coordinate with unit heads and employers to issue guiding documents and direct the effective implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, avoiding formalism.
At the same time, review and study relevant contents, promptly propose amendments and supplements to internal regulations, rules, and regulations when necessary.
Trade unions coordinate to organize conferences for officials and employees at public non-business units that do not receive 100% salary from the State budget with grassroots trade unions; organize employee conferences at state-owned enterprises and non-public non-business units in accordance with legal regulations.
The direction of the People's Inspection Board's activities must ensure practicality and effectiveness at state-owned enterprises and public non-business units mentioned above.
Notably, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation requested enterprises with trade union organizations to focus on improving the quality of lunch meals for union members and workers.
Grassroots trade unions need to promote propaganda and mobilize business owners to improve the quality of meals; proactively dialogue and negotiate to increase the value of lunch meals and include this content in collective labor agreements.
