Mr. Hoang Cuong - Deputy Head of the Medical Works Project Management Board (under the Ministry of Health) - Investor of the above 2 hospital projects said that the equipment and machinery system at Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital facility 2 are modernly invested, ensuring sufficient conditions to initially operate about 30% capacity.
The total investment for the machinery system serving medical examination and treatment at Bach Mai Hospital facility 2 is about 1,100 billion VND. Among them, there are modern machinery such as the >3.0 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging system of GE (USA) about 80 billion VND" - Mr. Cuong said.
Also according to Mr. Cuong, as of now (March 20 - PV), the construction has basically been completed. Currently, contractors are adjusting the fire prevention and fighting system. At the same time, the Ministry of Construction is also conducting inspections of the quality acceptance results of the project. Ninh Binh Department of Agriculture and Environment is carrying out environmental licensing procedures.
It is expected that the fire prevention and fighting system will be completed in April 2026. The overall equipment serving medical examination and treatment imported from abroad will be completed in April and May. After that, the Ministry of Health will license operations" - Mr. Cuong said.
With convenient locations, easy access from many different provinces and cities, when Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital facility 2 in Ninh Binh go into operation, it will contribute to helping patients in the province as well as neighboring provinces and cities conveniently visit patients.
