On January 26, the Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union of Industry and Trade informed that the unit visited and presented 325 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances at affiliated grassroots unions.
Each gift is worth 500,000 VND/gift, total cost 162.5 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Quynh (from the Trade Union of Regal Textile Company) said: "My family is in difficult circumstances. In the days before Tet holiday, I had to work overtime continuously to have more money to buy necessities for my family."
"Receiving Tet gifts from the trade union organization warms my heart. Because disadvantaged people like us always receive attention and support from many organizations and unions," Ms. Quynh added.
Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Dak Lak Province Trade Union of Industry and Trade highly appreciated the efforts of enterprises to overcome difficulties to develop production and business. Thereby, ensuring jobs and stabilizing the lives of union members and workers.
According to Mr. Tuan, the industry's trade union visiting and giving gifts to workers is a necessary task that must be implemented.
Because this activity shows the concern and responsibility of the trade union organization towards workers in difficult circumstances. With the gifts received, workers will have more money to return home to celebrate Tet with their families and relatives.
Previously, at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" in 2025, the Trade Union of Industry and Trade presented 200 Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
