Be a good example and try harder when becoming a party member.
Party members can contribute ideas and initiatives to improve production processes, thereby improving work efficiency and labor productivity, contributing to building corporate culture.
The Chairman of the grassroots trade union said that in order to develop the Party in enterprises and recruit more Party members from union members and outstanding workers, the Trade Union organization needs to organize propaganda sessions on the role, responsibilities and benefits of becoming a Party member; evaluate and discover outstanding factors.
Along with that, it is necessary to coordinate the organization of political theory training classes for union members, encourage participation in social activities, and build a positive working environment.
The trade union also needs to monitor and support union members after they are introduced for Party membership; provide rewards for outstanding union members who have been admitted to the Party, and at the same time encourage other union members to strive to be admitted.
Mr. Pham Van Son is one of the workers admitted to the Party in the enterprise. Mr. Son started working as a technical staff at Ha Bac Garment Export Joint Stock Company in November 2010. After a period of hard work, he was introduced by the grassroots union and admitted to the Party on October 28, 2017.
Mr. Son shared that when he was in the Party, he felt honored as well as more mature and responsible. “As a Party member, I feel that I need to be more exemplary and make more efforts to complete the assigned tasks well, contributing to the development of the company,” Mr. Son said.
Selecting typical, exemplary, and outstanding people
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Le Duc Tho - Vice President of the Labor Federation of Bac Giang province - said that Party development in enterprises, especially private enterprises and FDI enterprises, faces many difficulties.
The reason comes from the low awareness of some business owners and workers. “On the other hand, in Bac Giang province, most private enterprises are small and medium-sized enterprises, the number of workers is not large, so the source of mass recruitment into the Party is very small. In enterprises with a large number of workers, there are many fluctuations due to the large number of new recruits and resignations, so transferring party activities is difficult,” said Mr. Tho.
In the coming time, according to Mr. Le Duc Tho, in order to develop the Party and recruit more union members and workers into the Party organization, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor will promote propaganda work, raise awareness for Party committees, cadres, Party members, especially business owners and workers about the position, role, importance, significance and benefits of establishing Party organizations, developing Party members and Trade Union organizations in enterprises.
Along with that, strengthen political and ideological education, revolutionary tradition education, Party history education and homeland and country traditions education among workers and laborers to enhance pride in their homeland, trust in the Party's leadership, promote the spirit of self-awareness, emulation in labor, actively participate in movements launched by trade unions and enterprises... thereby discovering and selecting typical, exemplary, and excellent people to consider admitting into the Party.
The Provincial Federation of Labor will closely coordinate with the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee to continue implementing the Coordination Program 14-CTr/DU-LDLD (March 22, 2021) on developing Party and Trade Union organizations in enterprises for the period 2021-2025. At the same time, strengthen working with enterprises, raise awareness of business owners about the role and significance of Party and Trade Union organizations.
According to the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2024, the grassroots trade unions directly above coordinated to organize 11 Party awareness training courses for 471 outstanding union members who are workers in enterprises; trade unions at all levels introduced 1,872 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, training and admission, reaching 102.5% of the plan.
