Accordingly, the title of Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is not only a recognition, but also affirms a trade union model closely linked to expertise, creating motivation for sustainable development.
In the past year, the Institute has implemented 147 science and technology tasks, including 12 national-level tasks, 7 ministerial-level tasks and 31 provincial-level tasks.
100% of tasks were completed on schedule or ahead of schedule, many projects achieved good and excellent grades. These figures clearly reflect the research organization capacity as well as the creative labor spirit of the scientific staff.
The highlight of the Institute is not only in in-depth research but also in the ability to "take science out of the laboratory". More than 60 fertilizer testing contracts and a series of soil analysis and farming model building tasks have directly supported businesses and farmers to optimize costs and improve productivity.
Products such as biological products, sludge treatment processes into fertilizers or microbial applications have contributed to promoting green agriculture, reducing emissions, and towards sustainable development.
In terms of research depth, the Institute continues to affirm its leading role with a conservation system of more than 700 microbial species, gene registration in international banks, and building a digital land database and organic agricultural maps. This is an important foundation serving policy planning and long-term development orientation for the agricultural sector.
In parallel with expertise, the Institute's Trade Union clearly demonstrates its role of representing, caring for and protecting workers. 100% of policies are guaranteed; the working environment is increasingly improved with facilities such as collective kitchens, sports fields, and common living spaces. Practical support programs, especially during Tet with levels of 2-3 million VND/person, have contributed to stabilizing life and creating motivation for union members to feel secure in contributing.
The emulation movement is also being implemented methodically, directly linked to research tasks. Movements such as "Good Labor - Creative Labor" are not only formal but have become a driving force to promote many valuable initiatives and scientific works.
Many articles have been published in prestigious domestic and foreign journals, contributing to enhancing the scientific position of the unit.
Reality shows that the success of the Trade Union of the Institute of Soil and Fertilizer comes from innovative thinking: taking expertise as the center, taking union members as the subject and taking efficiency as a measure.
This approach has formed a model trade union, where the emulation movement is not separate from professional tasks, and each activity creates practical value.
From laboratories to fields, from research to application, the companionship between trade unions and science is creating solid steps forward, contributing to building a modern, green and sustainable Vietnamese agriculture.
