
According to Notice No. 201/TB-VPCP dated April 19, 2026 of the Government Office after a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, the Government acknowledged that the Ministry of Science and Technology has urgently reviewed and developed a reform plan and achieved positive results in a short time.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Science and Technology has completed important goals including: Decentralizing administrative procedures under the Ministry's authority; Reducing 50% of compliance costs; Shortening 50% of dossier processing time; Reducing 100% of unnecessary business conditions. These are indicators that directly impact the investment environment, helping businesses reduce costs, and people reduce travel and waiting time.
Notice 201 also requires the Ministry of Science and Technology to continue to play a leading role in digitizing dossiers, issuing electronic results and reusing digital data when resolving administrative procedures. This is considered the foundation for building a modern, transparent administrative apparatus that serves faster and more effectively.
