On September 13, at Sa Dec Industrial Park (Sa Dec Ward), the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) organized the handover of 2 Union Shelters to 2 union members of the grassroots union (CDCS) of Cadovimex II Seafood Import-Export Processing and Export Joint Stock Company under LC Foods Group.
This is an activity in response to the peak emulation campaign "30 days towards the Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress" launched by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on September 13, 2025.
The house was given to union member Tran Huu Duc, phi phi phi team under the Trade Union of Cadovimex II Seafood Import-Export Processing Joint Stock Company, with an area of 75m2 (5m wide, 15m long) with a wall structure, corrugated iron roof, cotton brick floor with a total glass fee of 215,000,000 VND. Of which, the Management Board of the Dong Thap Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch supported 60,000,000 VND, the rest was the family's savings and support from Mr. Huu Duc's relatives.
The second house was given to union member Le Thi Tuyet Nhung, a union member of the fish repair team under the Trade Union of Cadovimex II Seafood Import-Export Processing and Trading Joint Stock Company, with an area of 88m2 (5.5m wide and 16m long), brick floor structure, walls and corrugated iron roof, construction cost of more than 230,000,000 VND. Of which, the Management Board of the Dong Thap Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch supported 60,000,000 VND, the rest was contributed by Ms. Tuyet Nhung's family.
Mr. Tran Huu Duc emotionally shared: The dream of having a level 4 house has come true for his family. This is the motivation for me to overcome difficulties in life, work with peace of mind, and complete my assigned tasks well.
At the handover ceremony, Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thanh Tuan congratulated Mr. Tran Huu Duc and Ms. Le Thi Tuyet Nhung on their new house, encouraged their family to accumulate to renovate the house more spaciously, try to strive to work well, complete assigned tasks well, overcome difficulties and take better care of their family.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, within the Project 100 "Union Shelter" in 2025 launched by the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, towards the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, contributing to the locality in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
On this occasion, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Cadovimex II Seafood Import-Export Processing Joint Stock Company presented 02 sets of tables and chairs; 02 electric rice cookers to celebrate the new house to Mr. Tran Huu Duc; Ms. Le Thi Tuyet Nhung.
