Collective labor agreement with 15 favorable points
Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company currently has 733 officers and employees. Of which, there are 161 female workers.
In the past term, the grassroots trade union (CDCS) has actively coordinated with the professional department to develop, supplement and amend internal regulations and rules related to employees, such as salary payment regulations and labor regulations.
The trade union has developed and signed a collective labor agreement with 15 points more advantages than current regulations; supervised the periodic health check-up of 100% of workers.
The grassroots trade union coordinated to organize exams and raise salary grades for 302 direct workers, and at the same time considered raising salaries for 37 indirect officers and workers.
The trade union regularly pays attention to and proactively coordinates to find solutions to improve the workplace in degraded teams, supply houses, and guardrails; repair accommodation rooms to support workers to have better housing and reduce difficulties.
Cultural, sports, tourism and exchange activities between units are maintained, contributing to improving spiritual life and strengthening collective solidarity.
The unit has organized 389 domestic and international tours for people, with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND.
During the term, 1,011 cadres and workers in difficult circumstances were visited and supported with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND.
Improving productivity and skills quality in the new trend
In the 2025-2030 period, the Railway industry is identified as a pillar in promoting investment in national transport infrastructure. This is an opportunity for companies to expand their scale, improve service quality and maintenance work.
According to Mr. Mai Thanh Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union, the Railway industry is facing both great opportunities and challenges, requiring improvement of labor quality, productivity, skills and safety awareness.
"Great job opportunities require railway workers to transform to meet the industry's reform requirements. This is also one of the important tasks that the new Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union needs to focus on with solutions to improve productivity and skills quality in the new trend", Mr. Phuong emphasized.
Mr. Phuong also suggested that the congress discuss solutions to build a strong trade union organization, enhance the role of representing workers' rights, and at the same time arouse the desire for innovation and creativity in each union member.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Company's Trade Union sets a target of 100% of officers and employees joining the trade union organization and 80% of departmental trade unions completing their tasks well or better.
Emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers" or "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" will continue to be maintained, along with promoting initiatives to improve and rationalize production.
These steps aim to improve service quality, maintain infrastructure, and contribute to building a safe, civilized and modern working environment for the Vietnam Railway industry.
On the afternoon of December 2, the Trade Union of Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company held the 18th Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The Trade Union Congress of Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company elected 11 people to join the Executive Committee. In which, Ms. Dang Thanh Hang was re-elected as Chairman of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
