The incident occurred at around 4:50 p.m. on November 30 at the intersection between the road connecting National Highway 5 in Luong Xa Nam village and km 80+400 of the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway (where the intersection is not fenced). At this time, a motorbike driven by Mr. T.V.G (born in 2019, residing in Phu Thai Commune) from Luong Xa Nam Village, crossing the railway to National Highway 5, collided with the LP10 train from Hai Phong to Hanoi.
As a result, Mr. G was injured and died at the hospital at 6:00 p.m. the same day. The initial cause was determined to be that Mr. G deliberately crossed the level crossing when there was a warning signal. There were no fences at the accident site, and guards were deployed with flags and horns. Currently, the case is being handled by the authorities according to regulations.
