On June 14, Ms. Trinh Doan Hanh Tram - Vice President of Lam Ha District Labor Federation (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had just organized a summary of the activities of the school trade union in the 2024-2025 school year.
Currently, the district has 76 school-based trade unions, with more than 2,400 union members.
In the past school year, the District Labor Federation has directed grassroots unions to innovate the content and forms of activities, promote the role of representation, and care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
The trade unions at schools have organized many rich and practical activities, suitable for the characteristics of the profession. The results of trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year are comprehensive and highly effective," Ms. Tram affirmed.
According to Ms. Tram, grassroots trade unions have proactively participated in building and effectively implementing grassroots democracy regulations.
Each union coordinates with the school's leaders to organize 1 to 2 dialogues during the school year. Thereby, promptly listening to and resolving recommendations and problems of union members.
Dialogue activities promote grassroots democracy, build harmonious and stable labor relations. In the past school year, there were no complaints against the collective that exceeded the level at the school unions, Ms. Tram emphasized.
Also in the 2024-2025 school year, school trade unions organized 350 thematic activities to improve teaching quality and implemented many cultural and artistic activities at the school level, school clusters and district levels.
Notably, the work of caring for union members has been promoted with a total budget of visits, gifts and support for life of nearly 3 billion VND.
At the conference to summarize trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year, Lam Ha District Labor Federation commended 15 collectives and 66 individuals.
Awarded certificates of merit by Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation to 8 collectives and 9 individuals. Awarding the "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union" Medal to 6 individuals.
On this occasion, Lam Ha District Labor Federation also announced the decision to dissolve and terminate the activities of 109 grassroots unions receiving 100% salary from the State budget; handed over 31 grassroots unions of enterprises and units that do not receive 100% salary from the State budget to the Provincial Labor Federation.
