On June 12, Mr. Luu Van Loi - Chairman of the Duc Trong District Labor Federation (Lam Dong Province) - said that trade unions at all levels in the area always focus on taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
Currently, Duc Trong district has 166 grassroots unions, with more than 6,700 union members out of a total of more than 7,200 workers. According to Mr. Loi, the District Labor Federation and grassroots unions have effectively promoted their role in representing and protecting the legitimate rights of workers.
Thanks to that, salary, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes are basically fully implemented by businesses. Labor conditions and labor relations are also maintained stably and harmoniously.
Some businesses are facing difficulties, even stopping operations. However, they still try to ensure the regional minimum wage and pay all types of insurance for workers, Mr. Loi shared.
The district union also promptly visited and supported union members facing difficulties due to natural disasters and epidemics; organized Tet gifts, supported train and bus tickets for workers and their relatives to return home for Tet and return to work on time.
Since the beginning of 2025, we have presented nearly 6,000 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 3 billion VND, Mr. Loi added.
