On May 17, the Provincial Government Trade Union organized the 2025 Volleyball Tournament for cadres, union members, workers, and civil servants.
The event was held in Da Lat city. More than 300 athletes competed, along with hundreds of cadres, union members, workers, and civil servants participating in the cheering.
Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Government Trade Union - Mr. Ngo Van Son said that this event is part of a series of activities in response to the 2025 Workers' Month of the unit.
This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1809 - May 19, 2025) of cadres, union members, workers and civil servants of Lam Dong Provincial Government.
Mr. Son informed that this tournament will be held with 2 events including men's volleyball and women's volleyball. The unit has launched training sessions at grassroots unions to select outstanding athletes. Thereby, the emulation blocks have established 11 joint teams of grassroots trade unions participating in this tournament.
"The athletes participating in this tournament all have good professional qualifications and competition experience. They are the core force, the core of the sports movement in each agency and unit, Mr. Ngo Van Son affirmed.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Dung - a member of the Tay Son Secondary and High School Union said that she was very excited to participate in this volleyball tournament. According to Ms. Dung, this tournament is a useful playground for cadres, union members, workers, and civil servants.
It is an opportunity to exchange and learn about expertise and volleyball ability. It is also to create solidarity, attachment and increase health training to work more effectively...

According to the plan, this volleyball tournament will be held on May 17-18. At the end of the tournament, the Lam Dong Provincial Government Trade Union awarded cups, medals and bonuses to the teams that won the First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize and Encouragement Prize. At the same time, awards were given to athletes with outstanding performance in this tournament.
