The content of the dispute between the collective of labor and the employer includes: Year-end bonus 2024; Social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance regimes (as of September 17, 2025, according to the detailed results of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance payment in September 2025 of the Social Insurance, the total amount of evasion of payment of Minh Hoang 2 Garment Company Limited is more than 10 billion VND, of which the interest is more than 6 billion VND); severance allowance.

The mediation focused on the company's delay in paying severance pay and bonuses in 2024 as mentioned. After the discussion, the two sides still could not reach an agreement. At the end of the working session, the parties made a record confirming the unsuccessful reconciliation.
Workers are confident and hopeful
Talking to Lao Dong, Ms. Le Thi Lan - one of the workers (wishing to change their name) who quit their jobs at Minh Hoang Garment Company Limited twice said that she was very confident and hopeful when deciding to ask the Da Nang City Labor Federation to support the lawsuit against the enterprise to claim her rights. "With the support of the Trade Union organization to file a lawsuit, we believe we will claim the rights of workers of some businesses in the area who have previously claimed the rights in similar lawsuits" - Ms. Lan said.
The reason Ms. Lan and many employees of Minh Hoang 2 Garment Company Limited have such confidence is because in the past, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has repeatedly helped employees successfully file lawsuits. Most recently, in early 2024, the Da Nang City Labor Federation helped 62 employees who used to work at Hoa Khanh Company file a lawsuit, demanding benefits on wages and severance pay with an amount of more than 1.9 billion VND.
Previously in 2019, the Da Nang Trade Union, also authorized by the workers, sued TBO VINA One Member Co., Ltd. (TBO Company) in court to demand wages and social insurance benefits of nearly 500 workers for more than 14 billion VND. In this case, there were a total of 196 records of workers authorizing the Trade Union officials to file a lawsuit and won the lawsuit against the enterprise with a total amount of more than 6 billion VND.
According to Ms. Lan, because she believes in winning the lawsuit, she and her colleagues have been very cooperative and coordinated with the staff of the Da Nang City Labor Federation to complete the documents on schedule. Some workers in key positions of the company such as accountants, production managers, etc. actively provide information, documents, and records to facilitate union officials in performing their duties, Ms. Lan added.
