Timely support
With an average income of about 5.5 million VND/month, just enough to cover daily family expenses, the dream of owning a decent house is beyond the reach of Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Quyen (living in Trung An commune, My Tho city, Tien Giang province), who is working at Du Duc Vietnam Company Limited (Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province).
Ms. Quyen said that before, she and her child had to rent a house to live, and their monthly income was just enough to cover their expenses. Thanks to the timely support of the Trade Union, her dream came true. “I was very happy to receive a Trade Union Shelter from the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor. In the first days of moving into the new house, my family could not sleep because we were so happy. Having a stable place to live, I felt like I had more motivation to work hard,” Ms. Quyen said.
Ms. Quyen shared that since she was accepted to work and join the Union, she has received a lot of attention and support both materially and spiritually. This is also the motivation for her to continue to strive to work and have a long-term commitment to the unit and the organization.
Sharing the same joy as Ms. Quyen, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung (living in Cai Be district, Tien Giang province) who is working at Bodynits Tien Giang Company Limited (Cai Lay district, Tien Giang province) said that due to difficult family circumstances, the dream of building a decent house is far out of reach. "On the day the Trade Union Shelter was handed over, my family and I cried tears of joy," Ms. Phung said.
