On August 28, Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation informed that the unit had just organized a Conference "Promoting the work of developing union members, building strong grassroots trade unions and announcing decisions to establish grassroots trade unions in 2026".
In the context that the production and business activities of enterprises still face many difficulties, the Trade Union Committee of Vinh Phuc Industrial Park has focused on innovating propaganda methods, strengthening access to workers and coordinating with employers in developing trade union organizations.
As a result, in the first 6 months of 2026, the unit has newly established 38 grassroots trade unions and admitted nearly 8,000 union members.
In particular, at FDI enterprises, the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots trade unions are identified as important tasks to build a channel for dialogue between employees and employers, contributing to building stable labor relations.
Mr. Khong Son Thanh - Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation, Head of Phu Tho Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union, requested the Industrial Park Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focus on grassroots levels, and perform well the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
According to Mr. Thanh, for newly established grassroots trade unions, it is necessary to quickly stabilize the organization, build regulations on coordination with employers; pay attention to negotiating and signing collective labor agreements, thereby contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
On this occasion, typical individuals were also awarded the Medal "For the cause of building the Trade Union organization".
