To celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union organized the awarding of funds to support the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union member Tran Xuan Duc, a teacher at Nam Det Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School, currently residing in Khoi Xa Ngoai village, Bao Nhai commune, Lao Cai province.
Union member Tran Xuan Duc has difficult family circumstances, is the main breadwinner in the family, carries the economy alone and raises two young children of school age. For many years, his family has faced many housing difficulties, affecting life and work.
From the "Trade Union Social Fund", the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation has supported 50 million VND for Mr. Duc's family to build a new house.
Up to now, the level 4 house has been completed and put into use, contributing to helping the family stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and continue to contribute to the cause of education in the highlands.
Representatives of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union said that the "Trade Union Shelter" program is a practical activity to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Thereby, adding motivation for union members to rise up in life, stick with agencies, units and trade union organizations.
This support handover activity is not only of practical significance to the family of union member Tran Xuan Duc but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, mutual affection, contributing to ensuring social security in the area.
