The program takes place before the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), responding to "Month of listening to union members and workers speak".
Attending the conference were Mr. Phan Huy Cuong and Mr. Nguyen Hong Thoan - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union and nearly 200 typical union members and workers, representing more than 15,000 union members and workers.
With the form of direct, open and democratic dialogue, the conference has become a forum for union members and workers to express their thoughts, aspirations, reflect issues arising in the working process as well as propose solutions to improve the operational efficiency of the trade union organization.

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province directly exchanged and answered many recommendations under their authority.
For the contents that are still problematic, the unit records them for synthesis, proposes to functional agencies and coordinates with businesses to consider and resolve.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that dialogue is an important solution to promote democracy at the grassroots level, helping trade union organizations promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers.
Mr. Phan Huy Cuong requested trade union levels to regularly maintain dialogue activities, strengthen coordination with employers to promptly resolve arising issues, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
Leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation also affirmed that they will continue to strongly innovate activities towards grassroots levels, taking the satisfaction of union members and workers as a measure of the effectiveness of the trade union organization.
All opinions contributed at the conference will be studied and received to be supplemented to the work program, thereby improving the quality of representation, care and protection of the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
