On July 4, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation informed that the unit had just coordinated with the Task Force to strengthen drug prevention and control of Lao Cai Provincial Police to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate laws on drug prevention and control to union members and workers of Mau A Commune Trade Union.
At the conference, Mr. Pham Luong Nhan - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Head of the Task Force to strengthen drug prevention and control of Lao Cai Provincial Police - informed about the crime and drug evils in the area; methods and tricks of drug crime; and at the same time disseminated new legal regulations on drug prevention and control.
The reporter also guided union members and workers to recognize traditional drugs, synthetic drugs and psychotropic substances disguised under many forms; skills to prevent, detect, and denounce violations of the law on drugs, and raise vigilance against tricks of luring and seducing, especially in cyberspace and in the working environment.

Through practical situations and direct exchanges, the conference helps union members and workers better understand the responsibilities of each individual in drug prevention and control, thereby proactively protecting themselves and their families and actively participating in crime prevention and denunciation.
Leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation said that propaganda and dissemination of laws on drug prevention and control is the central task of the trade union organization to build a team of union members and workers with awareness of law compliance, building a safe working environment without drug evils.
In the coming time, trade union levels will continue to coordinate with the government, police forces and employers to promote propaganda, build agencies, units, and businesses to meet safety standards for security and order, contributing to the implementation of the goal of building communes and wards without drugs in the area.
