On July 23, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation to organize the 2026 Voluntary Blood Donation Day, attracting nearly 500 union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and officers and soldiers to participate.
The program is organized to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) and the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026).

Speaking at the festival, Standing Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation Vu Cao Minh emphasized that voluntary blood donation is a noble gesture, contributing to saving patients' lives, and at the same time called on union members and workers to continue to spread the spirit of compassion and actively participate in blood donation programs.
At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee received 405 units of blood, reaching 121.6% of the plan, and at the same time, 6 union members and workers registered to donate human tissues and organs, contributing to supplementing blood sources for emergency and treatment at medical facilities in the province.
