Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation has just organized the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" for the period 2026-2031 launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The enthusiastic response atmosphere has spread to a large number of trade union officials, union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - a construction material manufacturer - shared that for many years, the income of workers has depended heavily on productivity and work efficiency.

According to the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, the movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" is not just a short-term emulation period but is identified as a key task throughout the 2026-2030 period. The goal is to arouse the spirit of responsibility, will to rise up, aspiration to contribute and get rich legitimately of workers through creative labor. In the first 6 months of the year, in Lao Cai, more than 4,000 union members and workers participated in proposing innovative ideas, initiatives, technical improvements, and solutions to improve labor productivity that were proposed and applied to actual work, contributing to improving labor efficiency, increasing productivity and quality of products and services at units and businesses. One of the highlights of the program is the launch of the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Technical Innovation Contest, 2026-2027.
This is considered a playground for officials, union members, workers and people from all walks of life to promote their research and application of science and technology into production practice and life.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation - said that each initiative successfully applied, each improvement idea realized not only brings economic value but also affirms the role and position of workers in the development of businesses and localities.
According to Mr. Cuong, the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" is the central focus throughout the activities of the Trade Union organization.
When productivity increases and labor value is recognized commendably, workers will have the motivation to stick with businesses and localities for a long time" - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation expressed.
