In the period 2021-2025, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation directed trade union levels to thoroughly grasp and synchronously implement guiding documents on the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", associated with building "AGENCIES, units, and businesses that meet cultural standards". Propaganda work has been innovated in form and content, through conferences and trade union activities.
100% of upper-level trade unions directly at the grassroots level focus on propagating and mobilizing union members, workers, civil servants and laborers to practice morality and lifestyle; improve awareness of law compliance and labor discipline; build a culture of behavior in the workplace and workplace; implement communication standards associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.
Along with that is promoting the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, building a healthy cultural environment in cyberspace; spreading "good information, beautiful stories", contributing to forming a civilized and modern lifestyle among workers and employees.
A prominent highlight is the organization of diverse cultural, artistic, and physical education and sports activities at the grassroots level. Many playgrounds have become annual activities, attracting a large number of union members to participate such as: CNVCLD Singing Festival, Teacher Singing Festival, Medical Dance, CNVCLD Sports Tournament, People's Teacher Volleyball Tournament, Excellent Female Workers Contest...
In parallel with that, new models and good practices are being replicated such as "Digital Workers", "Happie Grassroots Trade Unions", "Good at state affairs, good at housework", "Skillful in mass mobilization", "Creative workers entering a new era"... which have contributed to improving spiritual life and arousing the aspiration for dedication among workers.
Implementing Decision No. 2214/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister and the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation has coordinated with agencies, units, and enterprises to register to build cultural standard titles. Annually, 100% of administrative agencies, public service units and about 85% of enterprises with trade union organizations participate in registration.
In 2024 alone, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation considered and recognized 2,556 agencies, units, and businesses meeting cultural standards in the period 2023-2024 in Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces (before the merger).
Notably, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation was also assigned to be the investor in building the Trade Union Sports and Physical Training Center with a total budget of 58.5 billion VND, contributing to completing the cultural institution, meeting the living and training needs of workers, civil servants and laborers.
In the coming time, trade union levels in Lao Cai province will continue to promote propaganda, proactively coordinate to build units and businesses that meet cultural standards associated with emulation movements; replicate advanced examples, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese people and cultural environment, rich in national identity.
