On January 12, the leaders of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union informed and implemented the joint directive on caring for the material and spiritual life of workers and serving transportation, ensuring safety during the Lunar New Year. The Corporation and the Vietnam Railway Trade Union coordinated with Thuan Hai Railway Joint Stock Company (CPDS) and railway units in the region to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" at Vinh Hao Station.
According to Mr. Le Ba Tuan Vu - Director of Thuan Hai Real Estate Joint Stock Company, this is the first time the area has organized Tet Sum Vay at the Corporation level.
Vinh Hao station area located in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district (Binh Thuan) is the most difficult and remote place in the section.
Over the years, the units in the station area have always been united and coordinated well with the Station Labor Union, creating a working environment of unity, solidarity, and comradeship, together completing tasks.
At the program, representatives of Vietnam Railway Corporation (VNR) and the Vietnam Railway Trade Union presented 20 million VND to support the organization of "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" for union members and workers. At the same time, presented 16 million VND to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances at regional railway units.
Vietnam Railways Corporation also presented gifts to representatives of Vinh Hao Station, Vinh Hao route, Vinh Hao T3H route, Vinh Tan Station, route 1445, barrier group 1416, barrier group 1436, which are units working on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of At Ty. And presented Tet gifts to 2 families with revolutionary contributions in Vinh Hao commune.
More than 80 union members and workers participating in "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" at Vinh Hao Station were happy to receive early New Year's lucky money envelopes and shared a year-end meal with the Company and Union leaders.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Corporation, the Trade Union and railway units also took time to meet workers directly at their workplaces to encourage and share the difficulties that workers are still facing in order to have more concern.
Here, Thuan Hai Railway Joint Stock Company gave Tet gifts to employees of Ca Na Railway Management Team working on New Year's Eve and the first day of Tet; donated gas stoves to serve the living needs of union members on Route 1445 and Hoa Trinh Route.
The Saigon Railway Exploitation Branch Union donated funds to Vinh Hao station to organize activities to increase production and improve the lives of union members.
The Union of Saigon Railway Signal Information Joint Stock Company presented TVs and gifts to union members of Vinh Hao Signal Information Supply.
Ms. Do Thanh Ha - Member of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railways Corporation, said - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty, the Company and the Trade Union will support 289 locations and stations to organize Tet Sum Vay, with a support budget of nearly 750 million VND. Organize visits and give gifts to 1,262 union members and employees in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND; subsidize 112 employees in especially difficult circumstances, with a total amount of 168 million VND.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam Railways Trade Union supported 109 pairs of train tickets for union members and workers of the industry in difficult circumstances who have not been able to return home for Tet for many years.
