Strengthening propaganda work
News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 23rd said: Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union organized a conference to sign a coordination program with Nam Phuoc Grassroots Social Insurance and Hoi An Tay Grassroots Social Insurance for the period 2026 - 2030.
This activity aims to strengthen coordination in implementing policies and laws on social insurance (BHXH), health insurance (BHYT), unemployment insurance (BHTN); contributing to caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers in the area.
Attending the Conference were Ms. Pham Thi Trang - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; Mr. Cao Thanh Hai - City Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Phuoc commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Phuoc commune; along with representatives of agencies, units, grassroots trade unions, union members and workers in the area.
At the conference, representatives of 3 units including Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Chairman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union; Ms. Doan Mai - Director of Nam Phuoc Basic Social Insurance and Mr. Le Nho Man - Director of Hoi An Tay Basic Social Insurance signed the coordination program for the period 2026 - 2030.
The coordination program focuses on key contents such as: strengthening propaganda and mobilization to implement social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies; exchanging and providing information to serve union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions; coordinating inspection and supervision of policy implementation, promptly grasping and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers in Nam Phuoc, Thu Bon and Duy Nghia communes.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of units highly appreciated the practical significance of the coordination program in bringing social security policies closer to workers, small traders, fishermen and people; and expected that the coordination will be implemented synchronously, substantively, strongly towards grassroots levels, contributing to improving the effectiveness of caring for, representing and protecting workers in the new situation.
Innovating propaganda methods
On this occasion, Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital continues to provide 300 free oral health care vouchers to grassroots trade unions, showing concern for the health of union members and workers through practical and meaningful activities.
Immediately after the signing conference, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union continued to coordinate in organizing propaganda and dialogue on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies for union members, workers and small traders in Nam Phuoc Market, contributing to raising awareness and expanding the coverage of social security policies in the area.
At the program, union members, workers and small traders were propagated and disseminated basic and practical contents related to rights and responsibilities when participating in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, especially voluntary social insurance and household health insurance policies; and directly exchanged and answered difficulties and obstacles in the process of participating and enjoying social security policies.
This is an activity to contribute to raising awareness, helping union members, workers and small traders understand correctly and fully about the meaning and benefits of insurance policies; thereby proactively participating and ensuring social security for themselves and their families.
On this occasion, the organizers also presented summer cooling yakults to attendees as a small gift, showing the concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization and coordinating units towards union members, workers and small traders.
With the spirit of "leaning towards grassroots levels, close to workers, close to practical needs", Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union continues to innovate the content and methods of propaganda to bring policies closer to union members, workers and people in the area.
