Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City on July 22 said that at the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh (Vinh Trinh village, Thu Bon commune), Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, grassroots Trade Union of Forest Protection Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Bon commune organized the program "Great Unity Meal - Warm Gratitude", to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.
Attending the program were comrade Nguyen Van Xe - representative of the Trade Union Working Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; comrade Nguyen Hong Van - Party Committee member, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Bon commune, Chairman of the Veterans Association of the commune; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Bon commune; comrade Lam Thi Vy - Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Phuoc commune, Chairman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union; comrade Do Thi Thuy Tram - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Kiem Lam Ceramic Brick Joint Stock Company; along with representatives of the Party Cell, Village People's Committee, Front Working Committee, branches, unions of Vinh Trinh village and Mother's family.
In a warm atmosphere, delegates cordially inquired about Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh's health, talked, encouraged and presented gifts of gratitude. The greetings and friendly handshakes expressed respect and deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of Mother and her family for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The highlight of the program is "Great Unity Meal - Warm Gratitude" held right at Mother's House. The simple and cozy meal was prepared with the joint efforts of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Grassroots Trade Union of Kiem Lam Ceramic Brick Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Bon commune, mass organizations and villagers.
This is an opportunity for delegates to gather around Mother, share feelings, spread family affection, village and neighborhood affection, and the tradition of community solidarity.
The activity continues the series of gratitude programs organized by Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union in coordination on July 27th; contributing to caring for people with meritorious services with practical and close actions, while promoting the role of the Fatherland Front, Trade Union, member organizations and the community in implementing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude".
