News from the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on January 1 said: The Ward Trade Union organized a conference to summarize activities in 2025 and deploy directions and tasks for 2026.
In 2025, the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union completed the assigned tasks. Regarding the construction of the trade union organization, the first Ward Trade Union Congress (term 2025-2030) was successfully organized.
25/25 grassroots trade unions organized congresses and conferences for the 2025-2030 term; newly established 2 grassroots trade unions and admitted 71 union members, raising the total number of union members to 2,365 union members with 26 grassroots trade unions.
Regarding life care, promptly review and request the City Labor Federation to support 177 cases damaged by storms and floods with a total amount of 354 million VND.
The ward trade union also presented 50 gifts worth 50 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances.
The "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" program was well organized and awarded 40 gifts from the city's Trade Union finance, mobilizing the awarding of 10 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to children of union members in difficult circumstances, disabilities, and critical illnesses.
Emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Good at state affairs, good at housework" and cultural and sports activities are maintained enthusiastically.
In 2026, the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union unified to implement 7 key targets and 8 key solutions. At the same time, launched emulation with the determination to focus on excellently completing the tasks of 2026, especially caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; organizing practical activities to better care for the material and spiritual life of union members at grassroots trade unions.
On this occasion, the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union proposed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward commend 5 collectives and 5 individuals for their outstanding and typical achievements in trade union work in 2025.
