On the morning of October 10, the Hai Van Ward Trade Union (Da Nang City) held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 100 official delegates, representing nearly 2,000 union members at 20 affiliated grassroots trade unions.
The Congress was attended by Mr. Le Van Dai - Permanent Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Hanh - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hai Van Ward Party Committee and representatives of local departments, branches and unions.
At the Congress, delegates listened to reports on the results of the workers, civil servants, laborers and ward union activities in the past term, watched the summary report, discussed key directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 period, and discussed contents such as policy supervision, care for life, protection of workers' rights and signing of collective labor agreements at enterprises.

In the past time, the Trade Unions at all levels have organized meetings and dialogues with union members and workers at self-managed workers' groups in the boarding houses, signed a commitment to implement the model of "Friendly, safe, clean and beautiful workers' boarding houses" and "Effective self-managed workers' groups".
Survey the installation of free wifi in areas with a large number of workers, self-managed workers' areas, contributing to ensuring political security and social order and safety in the area. Activities to care for the lives of temporary workers are becoming more and more effective, such as annually organizing gift giving to workers and single women in difficult circumstances.
The "Tet Sum Vay" program with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet" ensures a joyful, warm and happy Tet; is implemented through activities to care for and practically support the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, especially union members and workers affected by natural disasters, floods, poor workers and workers who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet.
The "Union Bus" program to welcome union members and workers back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet is maintained regularly every year, creating a great influence, demonstrating the role and responsibility of the union organization in practically caring for the material and spiritual life of workers.
Implementing the grassroots democracy regulations at the workplace, trade unions at all levels have coordinated with authorities at the same level to propose many measures to improve working conditions, care for life, and resolve policies and regimes for union members and employees such as wages, bonuses, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee of the first term, 2025-2030; launched a new Executive Committee and approved the Congress Resolution with 100% consensus.
