News from Hai Van Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 18 said: in response to the peak month of union member development, establishing grassroots trade unions to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), Hai Van Ward Trade Union organized a conference to announce the decision to admit union members and establish the grassroots trade union of Trung Thuy - Da Nang Joint Stock Company with 55 union members.
At the conference, the Ward Trade Union announced the decision to admit 55 employees of Trung Thuy - Da Nang Joint Stock Company into the Trade Union organization; and at the same time announced the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union, appoint the Executive Committee, and the Inspection Committee of the grassroots Trade Union.
Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman, Ms. Truong Nhat Ha Duyen was appointed to hold the position of Vice Chairman cum Head of the Inspection Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union expressed his honor to be trusted with the important responsibility of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, and committed to working with the Executive Committee to build an increasingly strong trade union organization, actively taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Hai Van Ward Trade Union Huynh Thi Anh Nguyet congratulated the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee and 55 official workers joining the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Chairman of Hai Van Ward Trade Union emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions not only contributes to expanding the Trade Union organization in the area but also creates a bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union needs to quickly develop a working program, actively organize activities to care for and protect the rights of workers, mobilize union members and workers to actively emulate in labor production, contributing to the development of enterprises.
